This project is an exciting new development at 394 – 398 Edgware Road in London. Our client was looking to maximise their asset and came to us to create modern apartments above a set of brand new commercial properties. The existing commercial premises are to be demolished to make way for our proposed design. It features 14 flats spanning over 4 floors with 4 flats per floor and 2 flats to the top floor. The scheme also incorporates 3 No. shops to the ground floor complete with basements to provide additional space for storage/retail. The scheme features a staggered frontage reducing in prominence as it increases in height, which is a sensitive response to its adjoining neighbours, helps to ensure the street scene is not overly crowded and gives relief to all users of the street.
